Middle Brighton Pier Swim Event

Date:

Friday 26 January 2024 between 0700hrs and 1400hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event in the vicinity of Middle Brighton Pier, during the times nominated above.

A set aside will exist around the competition area, bound by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 3754.281’S, 14458.650’E 2. 3754.553’S, 14458.652’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and monitored by event marshals.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside area during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared set aside area.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015 Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
