Mordialloc Beach Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 17 March 2024 between 1030hrs and 1230hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event at Mordialloc Beach during the times nominated above.

The swim races will occur off the beach in the area which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate location (WGS84):

1. 38°0.459'S, 145°4.837’ E 2. 38°0.388'S, 145°4.771’ E

A set aside will exist around the competition area, which will be delineated by marker buoys, and patrolled by designated marshal vessels.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants, officials and Parks Victoria officers.
