East Cardinal Beacon Temporarily Replaced with Buoy

Details:

Mariners are advised that the East Cardinal Beacon ‘Point Cook’ with

characteristics Q(3)W 10s7m3M, with charted position east of Point Cook Marine

Sanctuary at approximate location: 37°55.584’S, 144°48.913’E (WGS84), has been

temporarily replaced with a buoy of the same characteristics.

The old beacon has been removed. The new beacon as detailed in Notice 484(T)-25

has not yet been installed.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the buoy
