Dromana Pier Rebuild Works

Details:

Mariners are advised of major works to rebuild Dromana Pier at approximate location 38˚19.864’S, 144˚57.856’E (WGS84).

The works will be undertaken with the use of a barge and will include the removal and replacement of damaged piles, deck and associated services along the pier.

A set-aside has been established around the works area and will be marked with lit buoys, with characteristics Fl3 (Y)10s. The set aside is delineated by the following approximate locations (WGS84) and as shown in Figure 1 on the attachment.

1. 38°19.825'S, 144°57.844'E

3. 38°19.913'S, 144°57.877'E

2. 38°19.899'S, 144°57.904'E

4. 38°19.837'S, 144°57.814'E

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the works and comply with set asides that are in place.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11 of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons and vessels excluding individuals involved in the works and Parks Victoria officers.
