Mentone Beach – Swim Event

Date:

Saturday 25 October 2025 between 0830hrs and 1500hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swimming event during the times

nominated above.

A Set Aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the beach

and Special Mark Beacons at the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37° 59.352’S, 145° 03.266’E

2. 37° 59.417’S, 145° 03.504’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event

marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the event during

the date and times nominated above and observe signage and directions from

event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers
