Laverton Creek Mouth Dredging and Training Wall Construction Works

Monday 17 November 2025 until further notice

Details:

Mariners are advised of dredging works and construction of a training wall at the 
mouth of Laverton Creek at approximate location: 37˚52.410’S, 144˚49.068’E 
(WGS84). 
Dredging works will be carried out by long reach excavator and dump trucks, with 
dredged material placed on the adjacent beach for renourishment.
A sandbag training wall will also be constructed from land at the mouth of the 
creek to redirect the creek away from the adjacent seawall. Plant and equipment 
will be stored ashore during the works. 
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
