Portarlington Harbour - Maintenance Dredging

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works in Portarlington Harbour at

approximate location 38˚06.687’S, 144˚39.141’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge adjacent to the low

landing, and in the vicinity of the Ferry berth. Dredged material will be deposited

on the adjacent beach, west of the harbour.

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the

works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are advised to exercise caution within the vicinity of the dredging works

and lookout for floating, or partially submerged pipelines.
