Tootgarook – Temporary Mooring Ground Re-Established.

Details:

Mariners are advised of temporary moorings being utilised by Port of Melbourne contractors at the following approximate locations (WGS84): • 38° 20.390’S, 144° 50.590’E • 38° 20.490’S, 144° 50.490’E • 38° 20.460’S, 144° 51.120’E • 38° 20.590’S, 144° 50.590’E Barges and work boats will be moored for approximately 12 weeks as part of beacon remediation works in the South Channel. All on-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the mooring ground and be aware of mooring buoys and tackle in the area
