Boyd St Pier Remains Closed and Access Prohibited

Details:

Mariners are advised that access and berthing at Boyd St Pier, at approximate location (WGS84): 37°51.682’S, 144°54.520’E is prohibited due to poor condition of the structure. A set aside area has been established to prohibit access and is marked with a temporary unlit Special Mark Buoy at the pier head. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Boyd St Pier and be aware of any possible floating or submerged hazards.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
