Date:

Sunday 11 January 2026 between 0600hrs and 1200hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of the BOWS open water swim event during the times nominated above. The events will occur off the beach in a set aside area which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 3. 37°57.970’S, 145°0.636’E 37°57.525’S, 145°0.254’E 2. 37°57.868’S, 145°0.503’E The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event officials. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
