Limeburners Point Boat Ramp Breakwater Island Partially Submerged

Mariners are advised that the sandbag breakwater island, at the entrance to Limeburners Point Boat Ramp in Geelong at approximate location (WGS84): 38°08.535’S, 144°23.104’E, has degraded and is partially submerged. The sandbag breakwater island spans the entire area between the adjacent outer navigation aids and is partially submerged at its southwestern extent towards the outer Port Lateral Beacon, as shown in the chartlet on the attachment. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Limeburners Point Boat Ramp.
