Details:

1. Sailing Races in Corio Bay and Outer Harbour Multiple sailing races are occurring in Corio Bay and Outer Harbour between 1000hrs and 2100hrs during the dates noted above, with a large number of vessels expected. 

 2. Sailing Passage Race from Melbourne to Geelong The sailing passage race from Melbourne to Geelong will occur on Saturday 24 January between 0900hrs and 2100hrs, with a large number of vessels expected. The race will commence off Point Gellibrand, Williamstown, at approximate location 37°53.300’S, 144°54.000’E (WGS84), and conclude approximately 400 metres North-East of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club Marina, at approximate location 38°08.226’S, 144°21.948’E (WGS84). 

 3. Sailing Passage Race from Mornington to Geelong The sailing passage race from Mornington to Geelong will occur on Saturday 24 January between 0900hrs and 2100hrs. The race will commence northeast of Mornington Pier at approximate location: 38°12.650’S, 145°02.270’E (WGS84) and conclude approximately 400 metres North-East of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club Marina, at approximate location 38°08.226’S, 144°21.948’E (WGS84).

 Mariners are advised of a large number of vessels transiting Port Phillip for the events, and to observe signage and directions from event officials.
