Wyndham Cove - Powerboat Race Event

Date:

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026 between 0800hrs and 1600hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of the Australian Offshore Powerboat Championship race event, to be held approximately 300m offshore in the vicinity of Wyndham Harbour and Campbells Cove during the date and times noted above. The event will take place in an exclusion zone bounded by buoyage at the following approximate locations and as shown in map 1 below (WGS84): 1. 37° 58.000’S, 144° 42.764’E 3. 37° 57.391’S, 144° 45.151’E 2. 37° 58.830’S, 144° 43.293’E 4. 37° 56.944’S, 144° 44.100’E The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals. Mariners are prohibited from entering the exclusion zone during the date and times above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event.

Relevant Law:

The Exclusion zone has been established under the Marine Safety Act 2010. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
