Victorian Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised of a swim event from Sorrento to Portsea during the times nominated above. The event course follows the near shore area between Sorrento Beach, North-West of the Pier, to Portsea Beach, East of the Pier, at the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 38˚20.089’S, 144˚44.670’E 2. 38˚19.087’S, 144˚42.938’E The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and will be patrolled by event officials. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
