Temporary Vessel Anchorage

Monday 2 March until Friday 6 March 2026

Details:

Mariners are advised that a large tug vessel, Molly Grace, will utilise a temporary anchorage established within Capel Sound while undertaking works for the Port of Melbourne Corporation. The anchorage is located approximately 2NM off Rye and Tootgarook as shown in the chartlet below, at approximate location (WGS84): 38° 20.729’S, 144° 50.099’E. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the anchorage.
