Dromana Aquaculture Fisheries Reserve – Light and day shape temporarily removed.

Details:

Mariners are advised the light with flash sequence Fl(4)Y 16s 3M, and day shape from Dromana Aquaculture Reserve special mark buoy at approximate location: 38°18.434'S, 144°58.629'E(WGS84), have been temporarily removed.

The unlit special mark buoy remains in situ.
The light and day shape will be reinstated as soon as practical.
 
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the reserve, until light and shape can be reinstated.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established as a fisheries reserve under the Fisheries Act 1995 while leases over the crown land within the reserve are issued under the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978. Marine and Coastal consent and Parks Victoria works permit (Ref 03.25) are held.
