Black Rock Yacht Club - Winter Solstice Swim Event 2026

Date:

Saturday 20 June 2026 between 1700hrs and 2100hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event occurring during the dates and times nominated above.

The swim event will occur in a set aside area between the Black Rock Jetty and Red Bluff within the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37°58.133′S, 145°0.650′E

2. 37°57.854’S, 145°0.583’E

3. 37°57.859’S, 145°0.494’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
