Patterson River Entrance – Underwater Investigation

Details:

Mariners are advised that underwater investigations of the seabed will take place at the entrance to Patterson River at approximate location 38°4.390’S, 145°7.220’E (WGS84). A survey vessel with limited ability to manoeuvre will be anchored within the navigation channel. When divers are in proximity of the vessel, the blue and white Alpha flag will be displayed. On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the investigation will be marked as per IALA standards. Mariners are advised to navigate within the designated speed limit and exercise caution in the vicinity of the vessel.
