Port Melbourne Waters – Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge

Saturday 11 July 2026 0700hrs until 1730hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a water plunge event during the times nominated above.
 
Event will occur in the waters extending approximately 80 metres from the shore from the South Melbourne Life Saving Club between the approximate locations:

1:  37°50.87'S, 144°56.72'E                             2:  37°50.89'S, 144°56.76'E

The event course will be within the GPS coordinates and patrolled onshore by event marshals & lifesaving Victoria.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
