Kananook Creek Mouth - Maintenance Dredging Works

Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 September 2026, weather permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised of regular maintenance dredging works to be undertaken by Frankston City Council in the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance, at approximate location 38˚ 08.739’S, 145˚ 06.965’E (WGS84). Dredging works will be carried out by long reach excavators and moxy trucks. Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent Frankston beach. Plant and equipment will be stored ashore during the works. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and within the designated speed limit in the vicinity of the works.
