Mordialloc Creek Entrance - Maintenance Dredging

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works at the entrance to Mordialloc Creek at approximate location 38˚ 00.690’S, 145˚ 05.057’E (WGS84).
 
Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge along the navigation channel at the Creek entrance. Dredged material will be deposited on the adjacent beach, south of the Creek entrance.
 
On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
 
Mariners are advised to always navigate with caution in the vicinity of Mordialloc Creek Entrance and to note local weather and tide conditions before entry or departure.
