Kananook Creek Mouth - Maintenance Dredging Works

Wednesday 14 October to Friday 16 October 2026

Details:

Mariners are advised of regular maintenance dredging works to be undertaken by Frankston City Council in the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance, at approximate location 38˚ 08.739’S, 145˚ 06.965’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out using long reach excavators. Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent Frankston beach.

Plant and equipment will be stored ashore during the works.
 
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the designated speed limit and exercise caution within the vicinity of the works.
