Eastern Beach – Paddle Craft Event

Date:

Sunday 18 October 2026 between 0900hrs and 1600hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a paddle craft event in the vicinity of Eastern Beach, Geelong between the times nominated above.

A Set Aside will exist around the event area which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38°08.650’S, 144°22.220’E, 2. 38°08.659’S, 144°22.249’E.

The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants, officials and Parks Victoria officers.
