Mentone Beach – Victorian Lifesaving Endurance Championships- Swimming

Date:

Saturday 24th October 2026 between 8:00am – 5:00pm

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swimming event during the times nominated above.

A competition area will be bounded by the beach and the following approximate points (WGS84):

Buoy 1: 37°59.408”S, 145°03.275”E

Buoy 2: 37°59.544”S, 145°03.578”E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the event during the date and times nominated above and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
