Williamstown Beach - Surfboat Rowing Event - Unfinished Business

Date:

Saturday 24th October 2026, 1200hrs until 1700hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a surfboat rowing event at Williamstown Beach during the times nominated above.

A set aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the shore and following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37° 52.150'S, 144° 53.410'E.

2. 37° 52.170'S, 144° 53.540'E.

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
