Williamstown Beach – Open Water Swim Event

Date:

Tuesday 3rd of November 2026, 0700hrs until 1200hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event at Williamstown Beach during the times nominated above.

A set aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the beach and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37° 52.150'S, 144° 53.410'E 2. 37° 52.170'S, 144° 53.540'E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to avoid the event area and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
