"C4" Campground is set coastal coastal woodland close to the beach accessed by a dune cross over trail leading to the beach. There are five designated unpowered campsites at this location.

Predator control at Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park

Predator control (fox) activities will be occurring in the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park on some nights over August and September 2024.  The work will be focused on the area west of Loch Sport.  There are no restrictions on the use of the park and no risk to visitors.  Contractors may be seen moving through the park at night during this period. 

Ground shooting operations targeting feral goats

Feral goat control (ground shooting) will be undertaken in areas of the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park and Lake Coleman Wildlife Reserve.

The Park will remain open to visitors during operations. 

Deer control (ground shooting) in Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park

Deer control (ground shooting) will be undertaken in the following areas of the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park;  
 
·         Waddy Island, Barton Island and Crescent Island
·         Boole Poole Peninsula/Bunga Arm, Rigby Island – targeting Sambar deer.
 
The Park will remain open to visitors during operations.
