Cypress Picnic Area (Greenvale Reservoir Park)

Located off Somerton Road Greenvale, the Cypress picnic area has two large, flat, grassed areas on both sides of the carpark popular with large groups for picnics and games.
These areas have numerous picnic tables, two pavilions and good views over the reservoir. The pavilions have level, gravel floors and standard wooden picnic tables with bench seats. There are two barbecue areas that each have two barbecues.
Water is available at the barbecue area.
Trails wind through the park, offering glimpses of native birdlife and views of the water.

Greenvale Reservoir Park Southern Section Closed to the Public

The Southern section of Greenvale Reservoir Parks (access off Somerton Road) remains closed to the public at this time.  The Northern section of Greenvale Reservoir Park is open to pedestrian traffic 24 hours per day.  Access is from Venezia Promenade Greenvale.
