Wetlands Walk (Karkarook Park)

The Wetlands Trail of Karkarook Park runs around the perimeter and through the centre of the wetlands. This is a great walk to observe the local birdlife. Watch out for the signs along the way, there is lots of useful information to describe the wetland function and the storm water sediment ponds.

On the eastern side of the lake, the trail runs through the wetlands. Become immersed within the natural environment, as you observe the local birdlife going about their day.

Wetlands walk is a Grade 2 1.4km trail

Park gates are open between dawn and dusk all year round for vehicle access. There is 24-hour pedestrian access to all trails throughout the park.
