Mornington Life Saving Club – Life Saving Victoria – Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 10th of November 2019 between 0630hrs and 1800hrs, weather permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event north of Mornington Life Saving Club during the times nominated above.
The near shore event will take place in an area bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):
1. 38° 12.718'S 145° 2.671'E 2. 38° 12.606'S 145° 2.536'E
3. 38° 12.383'S 145° 2.767'E 4. 38° 12.479'S 145° 2.966'E
Marker buoys will indicate the course. Marshal vessels may also be present around the exclusion zone.
Mariners are prohibited from entering the exclusion zone during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared exclusion zone.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under section 208 (2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
