Entrance of Mordialloc Creek – Maintenance Dredging Works

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works at the entrance of Mordialloc Creek at approximate location 3800.665’S, 14405.070’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge. Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent beach, south of the Creek entrance.

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are advised to navigate within the designated speed limit and exercise caution within the vicinity of the works.
