Williamstown Beach - Swim Event

Saturday 14 December 2019 7:00am – 2:00pm (Weather hold date - Sunday 15 December 2019 7:00am – 2:00pm)

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event during the times noted above.

A set aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37˚52.167’S, 144˚53.533’E 3. 37˚52.219’S, 144˚52.937’E

2. 37˚52.104’S, 144˚52.962’E 4. 37˚52.288’S, 144˚53.569’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and will be patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the competition area during the times of the event.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
