Sorrento Bay Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 19 January 2020 between 0800 hours and 1300 hours

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event at Sorrento between the times nominated above.

Multiple swim races will occur off the beach in the area from Blairgowrie Marina to the Baths Jetty, Sorrento, between the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38˚21.339’S, 144˚46.463’E 3. 38˚20.481’S, 144˚20.426’E

2. 38˚20.756’S, 144˚46.058’E 4. 38˚20.231’S, 144˚44.799’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and will be patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
