Kananook Creek Mouth - Maintenance Dredging Works - Extended

Date:

Tuesday 28 January 2020 until Friday 31 January 2020, weather permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised that maintenance dredging works undertaken by Frankston City Council in the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance, at approximate location 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E (WGS84) have been extended.
Dredging works are being carried out by long reach excavator. Dredged material is being deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent Frankston beach.
Plant and equipment are stored ashore during the works.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and within the designated speed limit in the vicinity of the works.
