Middle Brighton Pier - Great Australia Day Swim

Sunday 26 January 2020 between 0600hrs and 1330hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event at Middle Brighton Pier between the times nominated above. The event course begins outside Middle Brighton harbour, at approximate location 37°54.540’S, 144°58.960’E(WGS84). Event participants will then complete a course in the area bounded by Middle Brighton pier and the following approximate locations (WGS84) 37°54.319’S, 44°58.627’E, 37°54.448’S, 144°58.631’E. The swim course then enters the marina and finishes adjacent to the Royal Brighton Yacht Club at approximate location 37°54.561’S, 144°59.117’E(WGS84).

The event course will be marked by inflatable buoys and soft channel markers.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
