Grassy Point Aquaculture Fisheries Reserve – Navigation Piles Temporarily Replaced with Buoys

Details:

Mariners are advised that the two yellow special mark navigational piles, lit with characteristics FL(4).Y.12s, marking the mid-north boundary and the north-east corner of the Grassy Point Channel Aquaculture Fisheries Reserve at approximate locations (WGS84): 38°06.014'S, 144°41.440'E and 38°06.028'S, 144°42.189'E have been damaged and are missing. Temporary replacement lit special mark buoys have been deployed to the same locations.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the buoys and the reserve.
