Tankerton - Jetty Entrance Channel Maintenance Dredging

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works along the entrance channel to Tankerton Jetty at approximate location 38˚22.982’S, 145˚16.141’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge. Dredged material will be deposited at a site marked with a small pontoon 200m south of the entrance channel at approximate location 38˚23.037’S, 145˚16.041’E (WGS84).

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are reminded to observe all day marks and exercise caution within the vicinity of the dredging works
