Portarlington Harbour Dredging

Details:

Mariners are advised of dredging works within Portarlington Harbour at approximate location 38˚06.730’S, 144˚39.250’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out by multiple barges, vessels and other plant and machinery. Dredged material will be deposited at the existing dredged material ground north-east of Portarlington at approximate location: 38˚05.270’S, 144˚35.880’E (WGS84).

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the dredging works.
