Elwood to Sorrento

Installation of new & upgrade or removal of existing aids to navigation–further updated locations

Date:

3 June to 10 July 2020, conditions permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised of the installation of new and the removal of existing aids to navigation in the near shore areas between Elwood to Sorrento, as detailed in the following table.
Works will be carried out using a pile-driving barge, support vessels and may include diving operations. On-water plant and machinery will be lit to IALA standards from sunset to sunrise. When divers are operating, a white and blue flag (Alpha) will be displayed in accordance with international standards.
Approximate locations (WGS84) of the new aids to navigation to be either installed, removed and/or replaced are:

Mariners are advised to navigate with extreme caution within the vicinity of the works.
