Boyd Pier and Commissioners Jetty – Berthing Prohibited

Details:

Mariners are advised that berthing at Boyd Pier and Commissioners Jetty, at approximate location 37°51.700’S, 144°54.500E has been prohibited until further notice.

A set aside area has been established and marked with a temporary unlit Special Mark Buoy to advise mariners not to enter the area around Boyd Pier and Commissioners Jetty.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside area until further notice and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Workshops Pier, Commissioners Jetty and Boyd Pier.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
