Benthic Survey Works

Details:

Mariners are advised of benthic survey works in the vicinity of St Leonards and Indented Head in the two areas bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84): St Leonards: 1. 38° 7.916'S 144° 42.652'E 2. 38° 7.829'S 144° 43.529'E 3. 38° 8.545'S 144° 43.049'E 4. 38° 8.432'S 144° 43.682'E Indented Head: 1. 38° 9.566'S 144° 43.225'E 2. 38° 9.402'S 144° 43.463'E 3. 38° 10.041'S 144° 43.462'E 4. 38° 9.754'S 144° 43.691'E

The works will be undertaken with the use of one work boat, aerial drones and underwater remotely operated vehicles with a submerged tether to the work boat. All plant, machinery and hazards to navigation will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are advised to keep well clear of the vessel and to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the sediment sampling operations.
