Beach Renourishment Works – Revised Start Date

Details:

Mariners are advised of a revised start date for beach renourishment works to be undertaken by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) within the vicinity of Anthony’s Nose Boat Ramp at approximate location 38°20.250’S, 144°56.300’E (WGS84).
The renourishment and associated works will be carried out by work boats and a cutter suction dredge, operating off shore to the renourishment areas. Dredged sand will be pumped on to the beach and spread. On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
