Middle Brighton Pier - Repair Works and Partial Closure

Details:

Mariners are advised of updated works and partial closure for Middle Brighton Pier, at approximate location (WGS84): 3754.550’S, 14459.015’E. The pier is temporarily closed to the public from before the first low landing, and vessel access to the inner and outer low landings is currently not available. Access to the Royal Brighton Yacht Club Marina is restricted only to club members that have completed the safety induction.
Maintenance and repair works are occurring above and underneath the pier with the use of work boats and divers.
When divers are operating, a white and blue flag (Alpha) will be displayed in accordance with international standards.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Middle Brighton Pier.
