Williamstown Beach - Open Water Swim Events

Sunday 28 February 2021 0800hrs until 1330hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event during the times nominated above.

A Set Aside exists around the competition area, which is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37˚52.167’S, 144˚53.533’E 3. 37˚52.219’S, 144˚52.937’E

2. 37˚52.104’S, 144˚52.962’E 4. 37˚52.288’S, 144˚53.569’E

The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and will be patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution in the vicinity of the event and observe signs and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
