South Melbourne Life Saving Club - Life Saving Victoria Carnivals

Date:

Saturday 27th February & Sunday 28th February 2021 from 0600hrs to 1700hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a Life Saving Victoria carnival in the vicinity of South Melbourne Life Saving Club during the dates and times nominated above.

The competition area is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37°50.783'S, 144°56.383’E 2. 37°50.950'S, 144°56.783'E

3. 37°50.900'S, 144°56.300'E 4. 37°51.100'S, 144°56.700'E. An exclusion zone will exist around the competition area, which will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution in the vicinity of the event and observe signs and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
