Blind Bight

Blind Bight Boat Ramp – Removal of Old Jetty

Date:

Wednesday 03 March 2021 until Friday 05 March 2021

Details:

Mariners are advised of demolition works at the old Blind Bight Boat Ramp Jetty, at approximate location 3812.983’ 145 20.650’ (WGS84) undertaken by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).
The northern boat ramp lane will be closed for the duration of the works. The new pontoon and southern boat ramp lane will remain open.
The works will take place with the use of an excavator and work boat.
On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
Plant and equipment will be stored onshore when not in use during the works.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
