Middle Spit Channel – Starboard Mark Pile no.5 Missing

Details:

Mariners are advised that the unlit starboard mark pile no.5, marking middle spit channel at approximate location: 38°18.454’S, 145°14.850’E (WGS 84) has broken off below the surface and is missing. The remaining pile may become exposed at low tides.

The pile will be reinstated as soon as practicable.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the missing pile.

AUS 143,158.
