Powerboat Race Event

Saturday 27 March 2021 until Sunday 28 March 2021

Details:

Mariners are advised of a powerboat race event at Werribee South, in the vicinity of Wyndham Harbour during the times nominated above.
Multiple races will occur off Wyndham Harbour in the area bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):
1. 37° 58.207’ S, 144° 42.817’ E 2. 37° 57.927’ S, 144° 44.828’ E
3. 37° 57.727’ S, 144° 44.829’ E 4. 37° 57.607’ S, 144° 43.729’ E
5. 37° 58.007’ S, 144° 42.729’ E
An exclusion zone will exist around the competition area, which will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the events and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
