Altona Pier – Navigation Hazard – Pier Closed

Details:

Mariners are advised that a section of Altona Pier Eastern Low Landing has become detached due to storm damage and washed ashore at approximate location: 37˚52.274’S, 144˚49.814’E (WGS84). Submerged or semi submerged hazards may be floating in the area.

Altona Pier is closed to all vessels and pedestrians until further notice.

Mariners are advised to navigate with extreme caution in the vicinity of Altona.

AUS 143, 155.
