Altona Safe Harbour Maintenance Dredging

Tuesday 29 June 2021 until further notice

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works at Altona Safe Harbour Boat

Ramp at approximate location 37˚52.000’S, 144˚50.970’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge. Dredged material

will be deposited on the adjacent beach, north of the Harbour entrance.

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the

works will be marked as per IALA standards.

The boat ramp will remain open during the works.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
